L'oliveto di Olivia

Located near the Umbrian town of Magione, our little 'Jollybox' cabin provides you with a safe, quiet, and off-the-beaten-path location to set up a home-base for exploring Umbria and the rest of Italy, or as a relaxing Italian country crash-pad after a day mountain biking through the surrounding agricultural preserve (look out for wild boars!), or enjoying the lakefront promenades and paved bike trails around Lake Trasimeno.

Perugia is only 10-15 minutes away by car, and the oliveto is only a 15 minute walk from the train station in Magione. There is parking on site (even for a moderate sized camper), as well as hookups for electricity, gray water, and H2O.

L'oliveto di Olivia is the first stage in what we hope to grow into an exciting agri-turismo venture, so be sure to sample the peppery organic olive oil and other products we grow on the property while here! If you are lucky, our mature fig tree and date palm may allow you to do some harvesting of your own!
